Andrew Jordan recorded his strongest Dunlop MSA British Touring Car qualifying performance of the season, taking third position for BMW Pirtek Racing at Croft.
Despite carrying 27kg success ballast from the previous round, the 29-year-old was the fastest WSR built-and-run BMW 125i M Sport driver in the field.

Andrew Jordan said: “I am really chuffed with that. I strung all the sectors together, took a few brave pills out the back and through Barcroft and I really enjoyed driving the car. When you get it so that it is edgy, that’s normally when you are quick. It felt really on the limit. Now we need to switch to a race set-up and make sure we look after the tyres. My aim is to come away from here in the top three in the championship. Obviously, I want to win and I want to get podiums, but it’s a balancing act between taking risks and making sure we stay in a great position to score some big points.”
