Test in Hungary – Day one


The first day of testing after the 2017 Formula One Pirelli Hungarian Grand Prix was productive for the Sauber F1 Team. Gustav Malja was behind the wheel of the Sauber C36-Ferrari, completing his first test in Formula One. The programme consisted of aerodynamic and mechanical tests. The Swede was able to get a first impression of the Sauber C36-Ferrari, and completed a total of 108 laps.

“It has been a great day for me. Driving a Formula One car is something that I have been working towards and wanting since I was a child, and now it has become a reality. Overall, the experience has been a very positive one for me, and I have learned a lot for my development as a racing driver. We managed to complete our programme, and I did my best to implement all of the input from the team. I am happy to have completed this test successfully for the Sauber F1 Team.”
