Test in Spielberg/Austria – Day two

Spielberg, 24th June 2015 – The second and final day of testing in Spielberg began with much better weather conditions than the first one: Slightly cloudy with sunshine in the morning as well as in the afternoon for the second and final in-season test of the year. Felipe Nasr was at the wheel of the Sauber C34-Ferrari on the Red-Bull-Ring near the Styria-City of Knittelfeld.

The second day on the Austrian circuit went according to plan for the Sauber F1 Team. The team was able to focus on a full programme of aerodynamic measurements, as well as work on the brakes, tyres and set-up for the next races. In total Felipe Nasr completed 138 laps.

Felipe Nasr:
“I am quite satisfied. Today was very productive, as we went through the planned programme. We were able to go through a job list of things that could not be done during a race weekend. We completed some useful work after the lunch break, as we worked on the brakes. In the end we completed over a hundred laps. We will now analyse the large quantity of data and informations we gathered to further improve our performance.”

What comes next:
The Sauber F1 Team will have a short stop at the factory before heading to the British Grand Prix in Silverstone from 3rd to 5th July.
