Today NOVA Chemicals Corporation (NOVA Chemicals) announced that it has extended its sponsorship agreement and technical partnership with the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula 1 team.  Throughout the 2012 season, the NOVA Chemicals logo will feature on Daniel Ricciardo’s and Jean-Eric Vergne’s race suits and on the cars, on the nose and on the cockpit. It also appears on the kit worn by team personnel.

As NOVA Chemicals looks to expand its brand recognition globally beyond its traditional North American market Scuderia Toro Rosso offers an avenue to the global stage.

Franz Tost: “Appropriately for a Canadian company, NOVA Chemicals came on board with Scuderia Toro Rosso at last year’s Canadian Grand Prix. We are delighted that they have extended their sponsorship to cover the 2012 season. It is all the more pleasing, because NOVA Chemicals and Scuderia Toro Rosso share similar values of innovation, teamwork and a focus on safety and performance.”
