Send your season’s greetings in style with this superb new Christmas card from The Guild of Motoring Writers. The Pursuit of Excellence depicts motorsport icon Stirling Moss and his navigator Denis Jenkinson racing their Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR into the record books by winning the 1955 Mille Miglia.

It is the second exclusive design to be launched in the Guild’s limited-edition Christmas card series, and follows on from Evening at Tertre Rouge. This depicts the debut of the Ferrari 250 GTO at the 1962 Le Mans 24 Hours; the very Ecurie Francorchamps car which is now owned by GoMW President Nick Mason. Both stunning paintings are by renowned motorsport artist James Dugdale.

The Christmas cards are available in single or mixed packs, and are priced at £1 per card, £6.50 for 10 or £55 for 100, including envelopes and shipping. All proceeds will go to the Guild Benevolent Fund.

The Guild can solve your Christmas gift woes, too, thanks to its fabulous DVD showing unique colour footage of the 1950 Grand Prix d’Europe at Silverstone. This disc, which has been launched to mark the 60th anniversary of the Formula One World Championship, also features black and white coverage of the Guild-organised 1955 Motor Show Test Day at Goodwood. The perfect present for any motorsport enthusiast, the DVD costs £15 including UK postage – and, once again, all proceeds go to the Guild Benevolent Fund.
